Beating girlfriend a different matter than having consensual sex

I need to begin this letter with an apology. I read a “You Said It” letter and found it so absurd I thought it must surely be bait for sane people to respond. Well, I couldn’t let it go. I tried; I just couldn’t do it.

It seems there are people that believe that adult consensual sex is somehow equal to beating your girlfriend.

I won’t try to defend President Clinton. Total idiot move. Without a doubt. However, he didn’t beat her.

As for the due process argument, he confessed. While confession may be good for the soul, it is difficult to defend a client after a confession has been made. Looking like a guilty plea to me.

Again, my apologies.
