Our current health care makes no sense

I’m an American citizen that worked hard all of my adult life until I became disabled from an accident on the job. I now live on a fixed income. I recently had tests done that determined I needed to be on oxygen. However, my insurance won’t cover my oxygen therapy unless I have another similar test. My insurance, however, will not cover the cost of the new test and it’s a struggle for me to pay it.

In the meantime, I am just waiting. Instead of being treated, my health continues to deteriorate and I continue to struggle while waiting for the insurance company to waste more time and money. This is our current health care. Does this make sense to anyone?

We should honor the election results and get behind President Trump

Mr. Borgen, in reply to your letter:

As usual, you spew forth with liberal talking points about how bad President Trump is, but offer no provable facts to back up your rant.

On the other hand, your chosen candidate has a long history of corruption that is provable.

Whether or not he won the “popular vote” is irrelevant since he did win the Electoral College vote as required by the Constitution.

When Obama won, you said, “We won and elections mean things” and demanded we all
get behind your president.

But now, your candidate lost and you show no interest in backing your own demands.

Why do you not honor the results when we, the people elect the weakest candidate?

Mr. Dickey,

Regardless of who said what and when, Republicans spent eight years doing everything they could to demean, insult, obstruct, and otherwise do anything possible to avoid “getting behind” Obama. Now you complain that Democrats aren’t doing what you refused to do?

You and the other Republicans made this bed, Mr. Dickey. Now you get to sleep in it.

Mt. Dickey, if you’re too dense to recognize incompetence, social ineptitude, pride in ignorance, narcissism and the probability of setting this country decades, maybe centuries, back I almost feel sorry for you. This is much, much more than differences of opinion about candidates. Your canned “analysis” is so predictably from your fake news sources that it is frightening. Whether you realize it or not, you are the victim of a dangerous full blown cult. This time it is only faux-religious. Doesn’t it bother you that everything is about Trump, personally, never the country you live in and its people? Wake up!

Ms. Tuttle, I’m sorry to hear of your plight.  I’m sure when you are needing Oxygen and can’t get it it’s difficult to fight this battle, but don’t give up.  Here are a few suggestions:
Call the insurance company every day until you get someone who will help you.  Or, if they claim they cannot help ask for a supervisor who can.
Ask the Doctors office to intervene on your behalf.
If you are on Social Security call the Social Security office and ask who can help you.
If you are on Medicare call them.
Call the Legal Center for the Disabled and ask who can help you.  970-241-6371
Good luck.

Its nice that Mr Meyers gave useful advise instead of attacking him like Mr Iles and John Gorgen did!

Thank you Mr Meyers!!!

Thank you Mr. Blosser.  It’s nice to see a friendly name among those of the perpetually unhappy.
