Is Obama really about creating jobs?

Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. That is what President Obama told us that he wakes up every morning, dedicated to opening up more jobs for the people of this country. Did I misunderstand what he meant?

I guess he meant to create more jobs for Canadians when they build the pipeline to the west coast so that they can ship all of that oil to China. Does this really make good economic sense to you?

Everybody knows that the Nebraska Aquafer that is in question has thousands and thousands of pipelines above it. In fact it looks like spaghetti with no problems reported in the last 50 years or so. If you think that this was a decision made for purely political reasons, I think you have hit the nail on the head.

Contact our president at http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/submit-questions-and-comments. I certainly
have.

School grades is a waste of money

In this age of information overload, here’s more. Local billboards and TV ads are urging us to call and find out what grade has been given to this school or that.

Why on earth would we need to know that?

If a school is good then leave it alone, and if it needs improving then improve it. But, telling us the problem doesn’t fix the problem. It could only add another layer of stress to an already stressful day.

Sometimes I believe the people who dream this stuff up are the ones who need improving.

Thanks, but no thanks. Just another example of the waste of our money in the name of education. Surely there’s a better use for the money it cost to produce that nonsense.
