Man ID’ed in Monday’s fatal rollover
The Colorado State Patrol released the identity of a man killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident Monday along Hwy. 50, naming 57-year-old Cort M. Kane as the victim in the crash.
Kane was driving southbound on Hwy. 50, about 10 miles southeast of Grand Junction near mile marker 53, when he lost control of his soft-top Jeep and rolled down an embankment. Kane was wearing his seat belt. Alcohol, drugs and excessive speed are not considered factors in the accident, however police are still investigating.
