Man killed in Hwy. 50 rollover

The driver of a soft-top Jeep was killed along Hwy. 50 near the Delta County line today, when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled down an embankment.

The man was driving southbound, before the accident at mile marker 53, just past the Bridgeport Road exit. The vehicle rolled several times before resting on its side down a steep dropoff on the side of the highway. No other vehicles were involved, and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
