Motorcycle crash victim identified

The person who died in a motorcycle versus pickup crash Saturday morning has been identified as 20-year-old Grand Junction resident Colton Morgan, according to the Mesa County Coroner’s Office.

The Coroner’s Office determined the manner of death was accident and the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.

Morgan was involved a crash at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 28 Road and Elm Avenue. Morgan was riding a motorcycle east on Elm Avenue, went past a stop sign and hit the passenger side of a truck headed south on 28 Road, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
