The Montrose Police Department released the identity Friday of the woman who was found dead in a Montrose hotel room the day before.

Judith R. Keeling, 40, was found unresponsive by hotel staff in her room at the Affordable Inn, 1480 S. Townsend Ave. Keeling checked into the hotel earlier in the week and was known to be homeless, according to police.

Police are awaiting toxicology results as part of an autopsy to determine the cause of her death.

The Police Department does not suspect foul play, Patrol Lt. Blaine Hall said.
