1 woman dead, twin sister wounded at firing range

DENVER — Colorado authorities are investigating a double shooting involving twin adult sisters at a shooting range.

The Arapahoe County sheriff’s office says one woman died at the shooting range at Cherry Creek State Park south of Denver on Monday. Her 29-year-old twin sister was taken to the hospital with a head wound.

Capt. Louie Perea said the women were shot nearly simultaneously and were in the same lane at the outdoor shooting range.
