RSSTipton campaign event tonight
The Republican candidate for the 3rd Congressional District will conduct a town hall meeting this evening with voters.
Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated voters “should all feel welcome to ask any questions about my campaign and get an answer directly from me,” Scott Tipton said in a statement about the meeting. The meeting begins at 6:30 in the Grand Junction City Council chambers.
Tipton is taking on U.S. Rep. John Salazar, D-Colo., a three-term incumbent.
Tipton is a business owner from Cortez and a Colorado state legislator. Salazar is a San Luis Valley farmer.
