William Moyer statue unveiled at Alpine Bank

Another Grand Valley legend sculpture will be revealed at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in front of Alpine Bank in downtown Grand Junction. The sculpture is of William Moyer, one of the most influential businessmen in the 20th century and the benefactor of Grand Junction’s first swimming pool.

The piece was sculpted by artist J. Michael Wilson.

A reception will follow at Alpine Bank. Catering is by Mesa State College. Call 260-8130 for information.
