City trash pickup resumes, after high winds cause morning delay
The Mesa County landfill is back open, and trash pickup around the city has resumed after high winds forced trash crews to stop serving their routes this morning
High winds forced the closure of the landfill at 7 a.m., causing Grand Junction trash trucks to delay until Tuesday some of their routes. Trucks, though, are back on the job according to city officials.
The Grand Junction CRI Recycling drop-off site, which was also closed this morning because of the high winds, has also reopened.
