•  To the person who complained about “drivers today:”
I agree that the speed limit is the highest speed you are allowed to go legally. However, I would bet that you are one of those who pulls out in front of traffic from your driveway in a no-passing zone, then drives 15 to 20 mph below the speed limit. That’s called “impeding traffic” and is just as illegal as speeding. As to bicycle riders’ “rights” on the road, there is “right” and “dead right.” If you argue with a 3,000-pound car, you are going to lose. Please keep to right side of the road and obey traffic laws, particularly stop signs and signal lights. Those are your “rights.”
