You Said It Column November 10, 2008

• To the moron who thinks I abuse my pets: I just spent more than $1,000 trying to save my 6-year-old English cocker spaniel. Maybe it’s you who feels guilty about the way you take care of (or neglect) your animals. Perhaps the rude, nasty animal control people need to visit your house.

• My wife and I worked and saved for a long time to buy a nice used car. Then only three months after we bought it, along came this person who could not drive well, at the City Market parking lot in Clifton, and rammed into our Buick Lacrosse. I referred the matter to the State Patrol, who will be looking at the film of the security camera, and if you can be identified ...  Well, you know a hit and run has some costly fines and maybe jail. I will file charges when you are found unless you notify the police and pay my deductible charges.
