• I was in the middle of crossing the brick section out in front of the new Wal-Mart, and a woman drove through in a big white vehicle and never saw me, never stopped, and if I had not moved quickly to get out of her way, she would have hit me. That isn’t the worst of it, though; when I waved and said to her “I’m walking here,” She stuck her tongue out at me. Please, tell me what is wrong with this picture. I couldn’t believe the gall of this woman. Lady: How dare you?
• To the young woman in a new black SUV just bought from Grand Valley Autos: You backed into a handicap parking spot Wednesday night at City Market in Orchard Mesa about 6:50 p.m. You did not look like you needed that spot; you seemed to get out fine even when you got your baby out of the back seat. No handicap plates or sign hanging — next time, I will call the police.
