Anglers take to road for cleanup

It’s not all about fly fishing, you know.

The Grand Valley Anglers Chapter of Trout Unlimited take to the high road this weekend for its annual West Creek Cleanup.

It’s not a cleanup of West Creek, really, but rather Colorado Highway 141 alongside the creek.

Just so you know.

It’s done twice a year, and this spring’s cleanup rolls around on Saturday.

You’ll rarely see trout anglers having so much fun so far from water.

WHAT: Grand Valley Anglers Trout Unlimited Chapter Cleanup at West Creek.

WHERE: Meet at the BLM picnic area on Colorado Highway 141, 2 miles above Gateway.

WHEN: Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. Lunch will be at the Paradox Grill in Gateway.

HOW: Call Pat Oglesby, 434-3912, or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
