Girl finds bullet at school
A woman reported Tuesday her daughter found a bullet in a bus loop at Rocky Mountain Elementary School, 3260 D 1/2 Road, Clifton, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a sheriff’s office report, the girl found the bullet Tuesday morning and showed the bullet to her mother. The woman gave the Super X .22 Caliber bullet to a sheriff’s deputy and it was booked into evidence.
The deputy checked the area where the girl found the bullet but found no other evidence. It is possible the bullet fell out of a vehicle when another parent dropped a child off at school, according to the report.
