Child porn downloaded

The Grand Junction Police Department identified two IP addresses where numerous child pornography was downloaded. One was in Clifton on July 4, and the other was in the southeast quadrant of the city on May 24, police said.

3 shoplifters suspected


Police arrested two people on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart on North Avenue and one at the store on Rimrock Avenue.

Ishmael Torres, 23, and Amanda Cunningham, 22, were released on summonses after an Oct. 12 incident on North Avenue. Items taken were valued at less than $500, police reported.

Aaron Nall, 19, was released on a summons after being seen by Walmart security stuffing property into his pants Thursday evening, according to police.


According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■  Carl Gomez, 46, was arrested and booked Oct. 13 into Mesa County Jail on suspicion of criminal mischief. He allegedly damaged property valued at more than $1,000 while trying to unlawfully enter a vehicle.

■  Fraudulent checks were made and a name was forged Oct. 6, resulting in a loss of less than $5,000.

■  A burglar stole property valued at less than $500 after breaking into a building Tuesday night in the 1400 block of Ute Avenue.

■  Property was stolen from three vehicles in different areas. From one parked in the 2800 block of Elm Avenue on Tuesday, items valued at less than $1,000 were removed. The second was near the 2100 block of South Canyon View Drive on Thursday,  when items valued at more than $1,000 were stolen. On. Aug 1, items valued at more than $500 were stolen from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Leland Avenue.

■  In the 400 block of 28 1/4 Road, a debit card was stolen Thursday and used to make unauthorized transactions.

■  A driver used a vehicle to intimidate a person Thursday evening in the 800 block of Main Street.

■  More than $500 in damages were caused Thursday when two vehicles were spray- painted at 600 North 14th St.

■  Seth Flukey, 48, was arrested and released on a summons Wednesday on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

■  Brandy Brewer, 24, was arrested and released on a summons on suspicion of unnecessary noise Thursday in the 800 block of Glenwood Avenue.

■  Jennifer Espinoza, 36, was arrested on suspicion of assault after allegedly physically harassing a victim Thursday in the 1500 block of U.S. Highway 50.

■  Burglars entered two businesses in the 1900 block of North First Street on Wednesday and Thursday and one business in the 2100 block of North 12th Street on Wednesday.
