Pathways to Fishing in Fruita Sept. 20

• The City of Fruita Parks and Recreation Department, the Colorado Division of Wildlife and the Colorado Sportsmen Wildlife Fund will present a Pathways to Fishing program Sept. 20 at Fruita State Park.
The program begins at 9 a.m. and includes lessons on fish anatomy, lure selection and presentation, knot tying, fishing ethics and the use of various fishing equipment.
Cost of the program is $2 and includes a fishing rod, reel and tackle box.
Ages 6-12 are welcome.
