End year, start another at Skyway

A racer prepares to start during the 2012 Grand Mesa NRL ski race on Dec. 8-9 hosted by the Grand Mesa Nordic Council. The Nordic Council hosts its annual Skyway Skuffle, a 10-kilometer citizen’s race, on Dec. 29.

You have been so good, waiting patiently for the snow to arrive, Santa is sure to notice.

Maybe Santa finally will replace those ancient wool knickers you insist on wearing to all the Grand Mesa Nordic Council races.

You’ll have the chance to model your new gear Dec. 29 at the GMNC’s annual Skyway Skuffle, a 10-kilometer freestyle cross-country ski race.

This citizen’s race along the well-groomed trails at Skyway is a great way to end one year and begin the next.

And there’s all that snow just waiting for you and those fancy new pants.
