Lake Powell: Bass fishing is fantastic but stripers are MIA
The son-father duo of Mark and Wayne Gustaveson of Page, Ariz., show some of their catch during a day bass fishing on Lake Powell. Gustaveson, the Utah fisheries biologist for Lake Powell, reports the water is warming, allowing bass to move into shallow water to spawn and where anglers can take advantage of the sight-fishing opportunities. Gustaveson said fishing will be great for spawning bass for the next three weeks.
