Lucky duckies paddle to Crawford State Park event

Everything is just ducky at Crawford State Park.

Saturday is the third annual Ducky Plucky Paddle and potluck beach party, which isn’t easy to say with a mouthful of feathers.

The Friends of Crawford State Park will have a few loaner kayaks for novice paddlers over age 16.

Waddle on over and enjoy the wacky celebration, which includes a series of paddle races with the finalists competing in big “Duck Off.”

I’d tell you what that is, but I’d rather egg you on.

WHERE: Crawford State Park, 1 mile south of Crawford on Colorado Highway 92.

WHEN: Starting at noon Saturday with events all day.

WHO: Everyone is invited, bring a chair, tableware and a potluck meal to share.
