The best way to not take something for granted is to help those who don’t.
And one of the best ways is to spend a day skiing at Powderhorn Resort while raising money and support for Colorado Discover Ability.
Colorado Discover Ability offers year-round adaptive outdoor recreation opportunities for the physically and intellectually challenged, and since it’s winter, the main focus is on skiing.
The annual CDA Ski Challenge Benefit Race and Silent Auction, one of the group’s major fundraisers, offers participants of all abilities the opportunity to turn ’em through the gates while racing for something more important than simply winning.
Silent auction features items donated by equipment manufacturers and local businesses including Gene Taylor’s Sporting Goods.
