Grand Mesa snowshoeing and cross-country sking

IF YOU CAN WALK, you can snowshoe, a family-friendly recreation that opens Colorado’s backcountry trails in their winter glory. Grand Mesa offers miles of groomed trails thanks to the efforts of the Grand Mesa Nordic Council.



Grand Mesa boasts some of the state’s best terrain for snowshoeing and cross-country sking. Snowshoeing requires a minimum of special equipment and the adage is “If you can walk, you can snowshoe.” If you’ve never wandered along snow-blanketed trails, here is a free seminar to get you started.
