Skuffle away calories with Nordic ski race
It’s sort of winter in the Grand Valley, but it’s full-speed winter on Grand Mesa.
Take advantage of terrific flat-track skiing and get a start on those New Year’s resolutions this Saturday with the annual Skyway Skuffle.
This 10-kilometer freestyle cross-country, all-comers ski race is presented by the Grand Mesa Nordic Council.
We know you might be out late Friday night, but the race doesn’t begin until 11 a.m. Saturday at the Skyway Trailhead on Grand Mesa.
“It’s going to make us behave a little more Friday night,” said race organizer Tom Ela.
Join the fun, join your friends, shake off the holiday blahs.
