■ Area students graduated May 10 from Adams State University in Alamosa. From Delta, Kelleen Roy, master’s degree in business administration; from Montrose, Lucia Cretti, master’s degree in arts, education, reading teacher; and from Olathe, Lydia Storey-Lopez, master’s degree in arts, counseling, clinical mental health.

■ Jacob Frankhouser of Grand Junction, a 2013 honors graduate of Colorado Mesa University, received a master’s degree in criminal justice Aug. 9 from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Free McDonald’s meals for students
McDonald’s restaurants statewide will serve free breakfast to kindergarten through eighth-grade students from 6–9 a.m. Wednesday.
Breakfast options are an Egg McMuffin or Egg White Delight McMuffin, apple slices, milk and orange juice for any child, age 15 and younger, who is accompanied by a parent or guardian. Substitutions are not allowed, and the child must be present to get a free meal.
