Water Workshop on tap

Water, whether it means rafting or agriculture, plays a major role in the overall Colorado landscape. The ebb and flow of Colorado’s water fortunes will be discusses Jun 18-20 during the 39th annual Colorado Water Workshop at Colorado Western State University in Gunnison.

Never say we don’t warn you in advance.

The 39th annual Colorado Water Workshop takes place June 18-20 at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison.

The workshop is presented by the university’s Center for Environment and Sustainability and this year’s theme is “The People’s Water.”

The three-day event features workshops, seminars and tours related to water management and water law in Colorado.

Speakers include Colorado Supreme Court Justice Greg Hobbs, Perry Cabot of the Colorado Water Institute and John Stulp, special advisor to Gov. John Hickenlooper.

In addition, the Gunnison River Festival follows the water workshop, a great conflation of water interests.
