Locally owned and operated, Alpine Bank has been a part of the Western Slope of Colorado for 38 years. With 37 convenient locations, we serve over 120,000 customers with retail, business, trust, asset management, mortgage, and electronic banking services. Many of our employees and managers have been with Alpine Bank for 10 years or longer. This dedication allows us to build long-term customer relationships. In fact, much of our original Board of Directors are still with us, including Chairman Bob Young.Because we are not a national banking chain, we have the ability to be flexible in creating solutions for customers. Our size and streamlined organizational structure enables us to react quickly to our customer’s needs. We understand the important role we should play in our communities. Alpine Bank’s financial commitment to the community is substantial, and our employees give generously of their time and talent.
At Alpine Bank, we have a strong sense of social responsibility that affects everything we do. Through our actions, we reinforce the importance and benefits of environmental consciousness. We demonstrate business leadership by striving to do our part to sustain a healthy, clean environment for ourselves, and future generations. In 2005, an employee grass-roots effort was started - the Alpine Bank Green Team. The Green Team initiated an environmental management system to help us understand and measure our energy and water consumption, and waste production. They set environmental standards and quality management procedures to assist us in making positive changes to our current and future resource usage. We have minimized the environmental impact of our internal operations and we will strive to stay abreast of technological advances and innovations that can provide further environmental benefits. The Green Team initiative has provided us with a framework to measure our progress, assess our impact, and continuously improve our results. We have developed a systems approach to doing business through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Since July of 2006, Alpine Bank earned and maintains ISO 14001 certification – a globally recognized standard of excellence for environmental management. To maintain this certification, we must meet strict standards for continuous improvement in managing our environmental impacts.
