3 injured in I-70 crash

Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed for an extended time late Saturday morning and into the afternoon, after a single-vehicle rollover near the Mack exit.

Three people were injured in the crash, in which an SUV and trailer flipped over.

A woman was trapped in the vehicle and required extrication. She was taken by CareFlight from the scene.

The extent of the injuries suffered by the three is not known at this time.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Two people are suspected of breaking into a vehicle at 1200 N. 12th St. on Oct. 22 and removing a financial transaction device that was subsequently used at various locations. An investigation is ongoing.

■ Two male juveniles were issued summonses Nov. 13 for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia by a person under the age of 21.

■ An unknown woman pointed a possible firearm in the 2200 block of U.S. Highway 6&50 on Nov. 13.

■ Four juveniles were issued summonses Nov. 14 for possession of marijuana in the 1100 block of Colorado Avenue.

■ Linda Marquez, 27, is accused of robbery and child abuse after an incident Nov. 14.

■ Someone forcibly entered a vehicle in the 1400 block of N. 5th Street on Nov. 16, causing damage of less than $500 and removing items valued at more than $500.
