Discover fun in the eastern Utah desert
You’re not on Mars. You’re at Goblin Valley State Park.
Or at least you could be. The park’s hoodoos, above, are just some of many unique landscapes to be seen and experienced in Eastern Utah.
Not far from Globin Valley is the San Rafael Swell, left, with narrow canyons to explore and plenty of camping, all on Bureau of Land Management lands.
Take some time for eastern Utah, be it in the desert, arches or canyons around Moab, or farther afield. Do some research, take a good map — GPS might not be a bad idea — and enjoy exploring.
