Enjoy a trip to Telluride for Audi FIS Skicross World Cup
While you’re waiting for Powderhorn Mountain Resort to open, take in the Audi FIS Skicross World Cup races starting today and running through Saturday at Telluride.
Many of the sports’ top skiers and riders will be participating, including two-time Olympic gold medalist Seth Westcott, seven-time X Games champion Nate Holland and 2011 X Games champ John Teller.
Ski cross and snowboard cross (SBX) feature four to six athletes going head-to-head down a course featuring jumps, bumps, banks and berms, and speed and physical contact are just part of the excitement.
Events finish in the Mountain Village, which offers easy walk-to spectator access and views of the race course.
