Fisher’s Liquor Barn
Wayne Fisher is a Grand Junction native and built Fisher’s Liquor Barn where his family’s dairy was ran until 1977. In 1980 he opened Fisher’s Liquor Barn in the previous location where Fisher started with a 4,200 square foot store where US Bank is now located and in 1999 expanded the store to have the new barn look. In 2007 Wayne, his wife Jamie, and their daughter Brandi expanded again and the store now consists of over 26,000 square feet of domestic& import wine, beer and liquor selections.
During the liquor store expansion, the Fishers also built Fisher’s Plaza which is located directly behind the Liquor Barn. Fisher’s Plaza consists of Conchita’s Mexican Food Restaurant, Fisher’s Market, and Golftec. Last July they decided to purchase the market which is now called Fisher’s Market and specializes in natural meat, seafood, organic, and gourmet products. The Liquor Store and the Market have become a great pair and allow their customers to conveniently shop at both stores which provide knowledge in a variety of areas.
All of the staff at Fisher’s Market have years of experience in the food and catering industry and can help you prepare your meals and give you recipes to accompany. And The Market provides meat cutters that are always on duty to cut you the ideal steak.
The Liquor Store has Joel Vanderhoofven who has been the Store Manager for over 15 years and can help you find anything you may want in the store. Josh Matteson is their wine manager and can always help you find the perfect wine for your palette or to pair with your dinner. The staff at Fisher’s Liquor Barn has over 200 years of combined experience in wine, spirits, and beer. They offer a variety of services including a delivery service and can work with the market to pair your dinners and wines.
Wayne and Jamie Fisher and Brandi Pollock pride themselves in their businesses and their community, and look forward to continuing to provide the same products and services that Fisher’s Liquor Barn has been providing for the past 31 years.
