GJ man found dead in Aspen hotel room

The body of a Grand Junction man was found in an Aspen hotel room Friday, according to Aspen police.

Early Friday, the Aspen-Pitkin County Communications Center received a 911 call requesting an ambulance for 27-year-old Justin M. Miracle, who was unconscious and not breathing. Miracle was staying at the Tyrolean Lodge near downtown Aspen.

Emergency workers performed CPR on the patient, but their resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, the Aspen Police Department said in a news release.

The cause of death had not been determined as of Friday evening, and no other information was available pending the results of the coroner’s report and toxicology results, according to the news release.
