Land Title Guarantee Company is a Colorado-owned and operated company. We opened our doors March 1, 1967 with five employees. We now have more than 50 offices across Colorado and employ more than 500 people. The local Grand Junction branch employs 15 of those people.

How has the title industry changed since you got started in the business?

The title insurance industry, much like the rest of the real estate community, has become increasingly more regulated over the years. Providing consumers information and protection has been the driving force behind most of that change.

What exactly is the role of a title company?

Title companies provide insurance to the party purchasing a property and the lender providing the loan. Most times the choice of which title company to use falls on the Realtor, lender or builder to decide as they work with title companies on a more regular basis than the average consumer.

What should consumers look for in a good title company?

Not every title company is created equal. Like car or home insurance companies, consumers should look for financially stable companies that are the most knowledgeable in the industry. They are protecting your biggest investment… your home.

What would you say are Land Title’s strengths?
