Police blotter: March 26, 2010
Grant John Crist, 39, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal tampering, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
Crist was arrested after telling police officers he used a spare key to enter a neighbor’s home. He told police he opened several drawers in her bedroom and dumped underwear on her bed because he wanted to stage a robbery because he was mad at the neighbor, according to an arrest affidavit.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
James Crosby, 34, was arrested Tuesday at 2256 N. 17th St. on suspicion of trespassing and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
Someone damaged the window of a motor home Wednesday and removed items from the motor home while it was parked at 300 McFarland Court.
Someone illegally removed property worth less than $500 from a vehicle Wednesday in the 2400 block of Jack Creek Road.
Someone illegally removed items valued at less than $500 from an unlocked vehicle Wednesday near Roan Ridge Road.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Aspen Brehm, Iris Brehm and Ronny Rose were arrested during a traffic stop Wednesday in the 1200 block of North Avenue. Iris Brehm was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, parole violation, complicity and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rose was arrested on suspicion of criminal impersonation, obstruction, probation violation and an outstanding warrant. Aspen Brehm was arrested on suspicion of criminal impersonation, possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance and driving as a habitual offender.
Someone threw eggs at a residence and a vehicle in the 3000 block of B Road, according to a report received Wednesday morning. Around the same time, a person in the 3100 block of Gothic Court reported eggs had been thrown at his vehicle and property.
