Freedom Financial Services
Freedom Financial Services recently made changes at their Grand Junction branch office, located at 2412 Patterson Road, Suite 1 and hosted an open house and ribbon cutting with the Grand Junction area Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 17.
Freedom Financial Services recently hired Mickie Fisher-Rogers as Branch Manager for their new Grand Junction office, which openedearlier this month. She brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience,
as well as almost ten years in the Real Estate and mortgage businesses to the FFS team.
Grand Junction residents have known Fisher-Rogers for years. She grew up there, on the Fisher family farm, which was located on the same property where her new Freedom Financial office is now located. Her grandfather, father and uncle all farmed that land until they sold to Mesa Mall in the mid-1980s. Her dad kept part of the land (where the old milk barn was) to open a retail liquor business, which is located just a few doors down from Fisher-Rogers’s new office.
“My dad and I left farming behind, but apparently itís in our genes,” Fisher-Rogers said. Her son, Kyler Frye, participated in 4-H and Future Farmers of America throughout his high school career and, after graduating, has already begun working his own farm on rented property nearby, proving that the Fisher family isnít yet finished with farming.
Prior to joining the Freedom team, Fisher-Rogers was the regional area manager of mortgage banking for Cendera Funding. She spent two years before that as senior mortgage banker and broker for Freedom Financial Services, Inc. and five years prior to that as managing mortgage broker for United Credit Services, Inc. Her early career included stints at Frye & Associates as sales and marketing director and at Pier 1 Imports as store manager.
“Mickie’s experience with everything from Real Estate brokering to mortgage origination to employee management and motivation, as well as her strong customer service orientation and connection to the Grand Junction community made her the best choice to manage our new office there,” said CEO Alan Kalell. “We’re excited about the new office and the products and services we’ll be able to offer future customers in the Grand Junction market.”
