Mike Moran posted the most closed transactions while Bobby Ulibarri and Kathy Tomkins tied for the most new listings for the month of July at Heiden Homes Realty and Associates. Moran recorded the highest dollar volume in closings for the third consecutive month.

A native of western New York State, Moran worked in radio, TV and print media for more than 30 years before obtaining his real estate license in 2012. He assists his wife owner, Toni Heiden, with management and marketing duties for Heiden Homes Realty. Moran also teaches Speechmaking courses at Colorado Mesa University, serves on the Master’s in Business Administration Alumni Committee at CMU and is the advisor for the Circle K Kiwanis Club on campus. Moran is also active in the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction, where he served as president in 2004-05, and is a member of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fruita Chamber of Commerce, where he attends a weekly Business Builders meeting.

Long-time Grand Valley resident Kathy Tomkins brings a wealth of construction and mobile home experience to Heiden Homes Realty and plans to add to her business expertise while serving clients in yet another business involved in real estate.

She currently owns Manufactured Home Parts, a mobile home supply business established in 2000, and has been an unlimited general contractor for 13 years. She specializes in manufactured home sales and construction at Royal T’s Construction, LLC and she’s a licensed mobile home dealer. Tomkins previously owned a heavy equipment construction company for eight years and started a gravel pit in 1998.

Tomkins has three children — Joe Tomkins II, DeDee Case (who owns a trucking company with husband Boone Case) and A.K. Weaver, who graduated from Fruita Monument High School this year.
