Heiden Homes Realty
Heiden Homes Realty agent Shandie Case posted the highest dollar volume in sales for the month of June, while Case tied with Meighan Marquis, Melanie Heiden, Cynthia Castaneda and Lori Enriquez for the most closings for the month. Castaneda and Kathy Tomkins had the most new listings for the month.
Case, one of the youngest Realtors in Grand Junction, brings solid experience and knowledge of the Mesa County market to Heiden Homes Realty. She has owned rental units for more than two years, beginning with a home she purchased with her fiancee while living in Denver. They later added two rental units in Mesa County.
Shandie and her fiancée, Alexander Fedak, do remodeling and cleanup work on properties. Case also works for a trucking company, CaseCo, LLC, with her parents, DeDee and Boone Case, and Shandie’s grandmother, Kathy Tomkins. Tomkins joined Heiden Homes Realty as a Realtor in 2013.
Marquis is a key member of the Heiden Homes team, joining the company after serving as a Realtor in California. While in the Golden State, Meighan earned several awards for sales production in her office.
Attracted to the small town atmosphere of Grand Junction and its historic downtown area, Meighan joined the Heiden Homes staff in 2011. She quickly became proficient at juggling office, marketing and management duties while working as a front desk staff person. Real estate is Meighan’s only occupation, enabling her to provide full-service to her clients.
Heiden is a native of Pennsyvlania who moved with her parents to Grand Junction in 1989.
Heiden worked in the food industry and later worked for Heiden Homes as a receptionist and administrative assistant. She worked for Lawson Products as a salesperson, where she was named rookie of the year in the region for 2007. After leaving Lawson in 2013, she earned her Colorado Real Estate license. Her husband, Trent Heiden, is also a Realtor at Heiden Homes.
Lori Enriquez landed her first job at Furr’s Cafeteria where she learned the importance of service. She later opened her own real estate company. She also owned Paco’s Tacos and says many customers still ask about her. She originally joined Heiden Homes in 2009 and has re-joined the company.
Lori adds that she hunts for homes in the price range her clients want, and doesn’t try to steer them toward higher priced homes. Lori has been married to Mathew Enriquez for 21 years. Mat is also a Realtor at Heiden Homes.
Castaneda loves helping first-time home buyers and the excitement that comes with purchasing a new home. She also enjoys keeping herself busy with multiple jobs, but says her true love is her faith in God and understanding He is the Reason.
Castaneda has been married to Nick Castaneda for more than 30 years and the couple has two children—Domonique and Brandon, who are graduates of Central High School in Grand Junction. Cynthia is involved in her church as a Sunday school teacher.
Tomkins brings a wealth of construction and mobile home experience to Heiden Homes Realty and has added to her business expertise while serving clients in yet another business involved in real estate.
She currently owns Manufactured Home Parts, a mobile home supply business established in 2000, and has been an unlimited general contractor for 13 years. She specializes in manufactured home sales and construction at Royal T’s Construction, LLC and she’s a licensed mobile home dealer. Tomkins previously owned a heavy equipment construction company for eight years and started a gravel pit in 1998.
Heiden Homes is located at 735 Rood Avenue in the refurbished section of downtown Grand Junction. The company features 19 Realtors and can be reached at 245-7777 or http://www.heidenhomes.com.
