Guild Mortgage Company is proud to welcome loan originators Lynn Whipple and Ninah Hunter to our Montrose branch.
Lynn Whipple has been a mortgage loan originator for over 15 years and in financial services for 20 years. Whipple strives to work closely with clients to provide excellent communication and good information to aid them in making informed decisions that could be the most important investment of their lives.
Whipple is an avid outdoor enthusiast. During the winter months, she races sled dogs in the western Colorado area and has been a top-ranked musher in and currently president of the Rocky Mountain Sled Dog Club. In the summer, mountain biking and being active in the local biking clubs, COPMOBA and MABA keep her busy outside of work.
Ninah Hunter brings a unique blend of experience to Guild Mortgage and the mortgage industry as a retired California attorney, more recently a Colorado real estate broker, and always a real estate investor. Hunter has excellent analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, technological expertise and a genuine concern for her clients.
Hunter has lived on the Western Slope in Ridgway and, since November 2003, Ouray County, where she “works hard and plays harder.”

On March 18, 2014 Coldwell Banker honored its realtors for their hard work and achievements in 2013. Coldwell Banker Home Owners Realty, Inc. agents have continually exemplified the highest ideals and dedication to their clients and the community they serve.
Coldwell Banker Home Owners Realty, Inc. was given a commemorative plaque “In Honor of Successful Affiliation” for 25 Years. Home Owners Realty, Inc. was founded in 1948 and became affiliated with Coldwell Banker in 1988. With a tradition built on integrity and hard work Coldwell Banker Home Owners Realty, Inc. has flourished serving the Grand Valley providing residential, land and development real estate expertise.

The Vaughn Team was awarded the International Diamond Society Team award, which ranks them in the top 27 percent of all Coldwell Banker teams in the US and Canada by closing at least 50 real estate sales in 2013. The Vaughn Team is comprised of Sharon Vaughn, Larry Vaughn and Rhonda Solawetz. They have served the Grand Junction community for three decades and have ranked among the top teams in Colorado.
Two individual realtors, Ross Beede and Olan Clark, were honored with the International Presidents Circle award. This is given to those who close at least 35 real estate sales which ranks them in the top six percent of all Coldwell Banker agents. As a seller’s specialist, Ross has 26 years experience in real estate and believes that experience and the trust his clients placed in him helped him to achieve his place in the International Presidents Circle. Olan Clark firmly believes his background in construction and love of working with people helped him to achieve his standing in the International Presidents Circle. Having obtained his real estate license in 1988, Olan continues to dedicate himself to the needs of his community.
The International Diamond Society was given to Becky Quinn for achieving 25 or more real estate closed transactions. Only 11 percent of all Coldwell Banker agents in the US and Canada receive this award. Becky knows just how important owning your own home can be in the Grand Valley and to this end she has been involved in real estate for 23 years. It was her belief that owning your own home can still be the American Dream that drove her to help her clients and thus establish her place in the International Diamond Society.
Achieving the International Sterling Society award was Steven Schiff. This is given to those associates who close at least 20 real estate transactions ranking them in the top 16 percent of all Coldwell Banker agents in the US and Canada. Steven’s experience in the business world including property management, construction and construction management gives him the knowhow which garnered his place in the International Sterling Society of Coldwell Banker.

Brandi Vigil, a Grand Valley native, has obtained her real estate license and will be joining Keller Williams Colorado West Realty. Brandi has enjoyed careers in lending, customer service and convenience store operations including administration and management. Both backgrounds will contribute greatly to her knowledge in the real estate industry.
Brandi moved her way down I-70 as she grew up, born in Aspen, CO and finally landing in Grand Junction, where she attended Fruita Monument High School. She pursued her Business Administration with an emphasis in Management at the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in 1998. A year after graduating, she married her high school sweetheart and began her career in lending and learned all aspects from loan origination to processing and even collections. Later, she moved on to join her family in the local Shell gas store operations where she was able to introduce new technology to streamline their operations through back office support and payroll.
She enjoys the outdoors of Colorado in her spare time with her husband and two boys, ages 6 and 12. She also enjoys spending time with all of her family who primarily also all live in the Grand Valley. Her family also has extensive knowledge in the real estate industry and hold many investments, from this, she has learned a great deal as well. She is looking forward to a new career in real estate and helping clients find their dream property and investment opportunities.
