Realtor News for the week of May 3, 2014
Keller Williams Colorado West Realty, LLC
Kevin Everson, of Keller Williams Colorado West Realty, LLC, was awarded top producer for 2013. This is his fifth consecutive year achieving this distinction. Kevin has been a realtor in the Grand Junction area for 10 years. Since 2006, Kevin has closed more buyer side’s transactions than any other agent in the area. Kevin attributes a large part of his success with buyers to the lending team of Sherri Brown and Casey Decker from Guild Mortgage. Until recently, his main focus has been helping buyers with no down payment and credit-challenged customers get into their own home. While still actively helping these buyers, Kevin and his assistant Shawnee Carver have expanded to representing sellers on the listing side and helping with all types of transactions, including short sales and foreclosures. He can be reached at 970-985-0386 for all of your real estate needs. Congratulations on a great 2013, Kevin.
Heiden Homes Realty
Lori Enriquez has joined Heiden Homes Realty and Associates in downtown Grand Junction. A native of Durango, Enriquez moved with her family to Farmington, New Mexico when she was in the third grade. The family moved to Grand Junction in 1986. She liked Grand Junction from the start.
“It was green and pretty,” she said, and a contrast to the desert towns she’d lived in before.
Her first job was at Furr’s Cafeteria where she learned the importance of service. She later opened her own real estate company—House Hunters. She also owned Paco’s Tacos and says many customers still ask about her. She originally joined Heiden Homes in 2009 and has re-joined the company.
Lori usually has several listings in hand, along with turning in completed contracts. She doesn’t consider real estate all that hard. In fact, she says she enjoys it. She believes her success hinges on serving people.
“I’m a real down to earth person,” she said. “I’m not pushy and I show people houses until they’re happy.”
Lori adds that she hunts for homes in the price range her clients want, and doesn’t try to steer them toward higher priced homes. Lori has been married to Mathew Enriquez for 21 years. Mat is also a Realtor at Heiden Homes. The couple has three children: Reyes will be a senior at Grand Junction High School in August, Kevin will be a freshman at the high school in the fall and daughter Marrissa is in the Army, stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Lori says her faith in God is a driving force in her professional and personal life. When not working in real estate, Lori enjoys fishing, rafting, barbecuing and playing horseshoes.
