Realtor Association announces officers for upcoming year
Joe Tripoli, RE/MAX 4000 Inc., was installed as chairman of the Grand Junction Area REALTOR® Association (GJARA) during the association’s Oct. 8 inaugural. Tripoli served this past year as the association’s chairman-elect and has been an active member of the association since 1996.
As managing broker for RE/MAX 4000, Tripoli brings more than seven years of experience in real estate to his responsibilities which include services to buyers and sellers as well as mentoring many of the company’s younger brokers.
“I am excited to see Joe take over as chairman of GJARA,” said 2009-10 Board Chair, Erika Doyle. “Joe’s knowledge of our industry and of the needs of this association makes him an ideal leader for us at this time.”
Kevin Borman, managing broker of Keller Williams Grand Junction Realty, LLC was selected to a one-year term as chairman-elect. Doyle will continue to serve the association as a member of the board of directors, as a representative from GJARA to the Board of Directors of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® and as immediate past chair. Completing the list of officers for the association is Ann Hayes, also of Keller Williams Grand Junction, who will serve as Treasurer.
Three new members were also elected to serve on the GJARA Board of Directors: Andrea Haitz, Keller Williams Grand Junction, Paul Zurek, Bray Real Estate and Lynn Gillespie, RE/MAX Two Rivers.
“Working with Joe and his leadership team this year will be a great pleasure for me and all of the staff here at GJARA,” said Pat Teck, Association CEO. “He is so very knowledgeable about the real estate community and will provide great direction for our association.”
