GJ teen takes third in freeskier regional

Wilson competed against 23 other competitors in the men’s 12–14 age division. Skiers were judged on fluidity, speed, air and stability. As competitors advance through the regional events, their overall rank qualifies them for an invitation to the North American IFSA Championships.

Wilson is an eighth-grade student at Redlands Middle School and is the son of Ron Wilson of Grand Junction.
