Where did you grow up?
Kansas City, Kan. I moved to Grand Junction in 1976.
In Colorado I have Chris Dennis, my boyfriend, Alan and Joe, my brothers and their wives, my son, Jeremy, his wife, Janean and my two grandchildren, Mason and Madison. My sister Nellie lives in Kansas with additional extended family. I have six great nieces and a great nephew. My Grandma Velma will be 100 years old in April. I also have Jake, my dog and Sami, the cat.
What do you enjoy most about living in the Grand Junction area?
I love the sunny days, the beauty of the mountains surrounding our valley and the opportunity to take advantage of many outdoor activities. Jake and I enjoy hiking as well and this is a great location for it.

Residential sales and listings. I am also a Senior Residential Specialist.

GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute), CRS Certified Residential Specialist, EPro, CNE ( Certified Negotiation Expert, CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and SRES ( Senior Residential Specialist). Member of GJARA, CAR and NAR since 1995.
What is the most challenging/ gratifying aspect of what you do?
Finding a home that meets a buyer’s requirements and negotiating offers can both be challenging. I enjoy providing the expertise it takes to make the transaction stress-free. The most gratifying part of my job is the trust my clients have in me and the lasting friendships I have made along the way. Referrals from past clients assure I did a great job and I will continue to do so for all of my clients.
What is the most unique property you’ve ever listed or sold?
I love older homes and recently had the opportunity to co-op a listing. The home is located in the historical district and was owned by the Prinsters. This was a wonderful large home with lots of character and charm.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy a home today?
Determine what your buying power is by pre-qualifying for a loan first! I would be glad to refer you to a lender that will provide you excellent service. Interest rates are low don’t wait to BUY!
What is one tip you have for someone looking to sell a home today?
Determine the price of your home with a current market analysis that I can provide to you at no cost. List the home at current market value and you won’t miss potential buyers.
What do you see in the future of real estate sales/prices?
The market is trending upward so prices are increasing slowly which is great news! Interest rates are low and buyers are ready to purchase.
