At Mesa, Boehme rediscovers happiness of playing hoops

Being reunited with her former junior college coach has given Aubry Boehme a reason to smile on the basketball court again. Boehme, who played at Wyoming last year, had a tough 2012-13 season with the Cowboys and was looking to go someplace to rediscover he basketball love. She called up Colorado Mesa’s Taylor Wagner — her coach at Otero Junior College — and Wagner offered her a spot. Boehme has fit in just fine for the Mavs — missing only one field goal in two games.
