Bingaman 12th in Oregon

Colorado Mesa University’s Brandon Bingaman, who was tied for third after the first two rounds of the Golfweek Division II Fall Invitational, struggled to a final-round 81 on Tuesday and finished tied for 12th in Sunriver, Ore.

Colorado Mesa placed 12th as a team in the 13-team field, shooting a 322 on Tuesday to finish at 910. Bingaman finshed at 220, 15 strokes off the pace of Colorado Mines’ Michael Lee, who shot a 72 in the final round to win the title.

Sean Robbins of CMU shot a 77 and tied for 18th at 222.
