Most Wanted man jailed

• Willie Lee Privette, 28, was on Grand Junction’s 10 Most Wanted list until his arrest Wednesday in Montrose County, according to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Department.
Privette is wanted in Mesa County on suspicion of sex assault on a child, second-degree assault, felony bail violation, protection order violation, driving under restraint, menacing, possession of marijuana and being habitual offender, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
Privette is being held in Montrose County on $149,000 bond, but paperwork “probably” had been filed by Friday to transfer Privette to Mesa County, said Police Department Cpl. Bob Culver.
Privette may face additional charges in Montrose County, stemming from his Wednesday arrest in Naturita, said Montrose County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Bobbie McCoid.

Three suspected in meth case

• Jeffrey Alan Maxedon, 44, Sally Jane Smith, 43, and Kelly Ann Patterson, 50, were arrested at 2945 Kannah Creek Road on suspicion of possession of materials to make methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

•  Cody Eduardo Bowes, 18, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, trespassing and theft of less than $500 at Canyon View Park, 728 24 Road.

•  Jaynie Curington, 26, was arrested on suspicion of harassment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in the 600 block of Main Street.

•  Robert Hays, 19, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, trespassing and distribution of a controlled substance in the 1600 block of South Fifth Street.

•  Christopher Raymond Stuckenschneider, 19, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of trespassing and tampering with evidence.

•  Two girls, ages 13 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of fighting in public in the 500 block of 29 1/4 Road.

•  A thief stole a car valued at $10,000 from Grand Junction Park & Sell, 931 N. First St.

•  A thief stole more than $1,000 in property from the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 6&50.
