Authors featured at a number of events
Peruse a wide variety of books and meet more than 25 Colorado authors at a Regional Authors Meet and Greet hosted by Mesa County Libraries and the Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department.
The author event will go from 2–4 p.m. Saturday at the Lincoln Park Barn. Admission is free and books will be available for purchase.
This event is one of many featuring western Colorado authors in the coming days. Here are details on several others:
■ Frank Daniels, author of “Ptimothy Ptarmigan: Here Again … Gone Again,” will talk with readers and sign copies of his children’s book from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Grand Valley Books, 350 Main St.
■ Reach Out and Read is sponsoring a book-signing with Leslie Larkin (“The Grand Mesa: A Journey Worth Taking”), Rod Martinez (“The Best Grand Junction Hikes”) and Harry Clifford Brown (“Magic Club”) from 5–8 p.m. Monday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.
■ “Magic Club” author Harry Clifford Brown will be back for a book-signing from 1–4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
■ “The Grand Mesa: A Journey Worth Taking” author Leslie Larkin will sign books from 2–6 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
■ Heidi Davis, author of “Ariel’s Light: An Inspiring True Story of Recovery, Healing, Hope, and Miracles,” will be at a book-signing from 1–3 p.m. Saturday at The Coffee Trader, 845 E. Main St., in Montrose.
