Bookcliff Country Club invites golfers to help soldiers’ families

Bookcliff Country Club will host Patriot Golf Day on Saturday, opening its golf course to all players to raise money for the PGA-supported Folds of Honor Foundation.

Green fees will be reduced to $40, and $20 of it will go to the Folds of Honor Foundation, which raises money and provides scholarships to benefit the children and spouses of soldiers who were killed or disabled while serving our country.

People who want to donate money without playing the course can mail donations to: Bookcliff Country Club, care of Brett Winder or Cathie Zarlingo, 2730 G Road, Grand Junction, 81506.

For more information, contact Zarlingo at 216-2408.
