Central Arizona avenges loss, advances to title game

Willie Johnson hit a home run and drove in the final run to lift Central Arizona to a 16-6 victory over Potomac State (W.Va.) College in an Alpine Bank Junior College World Series elimination game.

Johnson was 3 for 4 with five RBI. Cody Gray scattered eight hits in six innings for the victory.

The Vaqueros (56-14) advance to the championship game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against Navarro (Texas) College.
