Central takes advantage of forfeits to win

Central High School won seven matches, including five by forfeit to defeat Montrose 42-30 in a wrestling dual Thursday night at Central High School.

The Warriors’ Jeremiah Stratton and Jacob Rubalcaba each pinned their opponent to give Central the 12-point margin of victory.

Montrose won seven of the nine matches it wrestled.
