Central’s Basinski now using her head, and her game, to win at No. 1 singles
Aimee Basinski started slowly this season, losing her first two matches. The Central High School sophomore rebounded, winning 13 of her next 14 matches to earn the top seed at No. 1 singles for the Class 5A Region 6 tournament. The seven-team tournament begins today at Mesa State College’s Elliott Tennis Center.
